The Qualicum Beach Farmers Market is your go-to outdoor farmers market every Saturday from 8:30 am to 12 pm, year-round. With vendors who make, bake, or grow everything they sell, the market is a true celebration of local talent and flavour. Stroll through the stalls, meet the people behind your food, and experience the best of mid-Island freshness—right in the heart of town. (Please note we are closed the last Saturday in December and the first Saturday in January.)

Whether it is your first visit to our outdoor farmers market or you are a weekly regular, we want your experience to be smooth and enjoyable. You will find answers to some of the most common questions about parking, pets, vendors, and more.
Where can I park?
Parking is available behind the Community Hall in the lot adjacent to the market, along Village Way, and throughout the Town of Qualicum Beach, as well there is a large public lot at the end of Condor Close which is located behind the Gardens Residence where attendees can access the market by following the footpath to the market.
Are there washrooms available?
Yes! There is one washroom located outside the Community Hall. Additionally, the Town of Qualicum Beach provides washrooms beside Quality Foods and inside the Town Hall, which is open on Saturdays. From May to October, the market also rents a portable toilet located near the tennis courts.
Can I bring my dog?
We love your furry friends, but pets are not permitted in the market space during market hours (8:30 am to 12 pm). Please do not leave them in a hot car; instead, consider leaving them at home or having someone stay with them in our pet-friendly shaded grass area.
Do all vendors make their own products?
Yes, all vendors at our outdoor farmers market must “grow it, bake it, or make it” locally to offer their products for sale.
Is there live music at the market?
Yes! We feature live music every weekend during the summer and on select weekends throughout the rest of the year. Check our Weekly Market Map in the ‘For Vendors’ section for the entertainment schedule.
Is food available at the market?
Absolutely! Many vendors offer delicious pastries, and we have coffee and tea available. The Legion also hosts a pancake breakfast for your enjoyment.
How can I find out which vendors will be at the market?

Are drop-in spots available for vendors?
Yes, spaces are usually available for non-members wishing to sell plants, produce, and food-related items. Interested individuals should contact the Market Manager early in the week they wish to attend, but no later than Thursday. Please refer to the Regulations for applicable conditions, fees, and membership details.
Do you have organic products?
Yes! Please see our vendor directory for a complete list of Certified Organic vendors. Only vendors who are Certified Organic may advertise their products as organic at the Qualicum Beach Farmers Market.
What is the purpose of the market?
Our mission is to promote and sustain agriculture, fisheries, and food production in the Vancouver Island and Gulf Islands area. We operate a farmers market within Oceanside, mid-Vancouver Island, and support the growth of 4H through their participation in the Society’s purposes. Our goal is to enhance and strengthen the economy and community well-being within Oceanside, mid-Vancouver Island.
